Financial Controller

Robert Half is partnering exclusively with a £60m turnover distribution business in Avonmouth to recruit an Interim Financial Controller.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with clean, well-implemented ledgers and a clear balance sheet, during an exciting period of growth including a consolidation project bringing two sites together.

Interim Financial Controller

Location: Avonmouth

Rate: £300 - £375 per day (via umbrella - dependent on experience)

Duration: 3-4 Month Contract

Start date: ASAP

Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of:

• Cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
• Management accounts pack (P&L, balance sheet, sales reconciliations)
• AR/AP reconciliations to control accounts
• Accruals & prepayments across both businesses
• Inventory controls and fixed asset maintenance
• Line management of a junior team member

Profile:

• QBE or Qualified accountant
• Comfortable with stock reconciliations
• NetSuite experience advantageous
• Able to work to strict, fixed reporting deadlines
