Inside IR35 contract - 500 -525 a day

2 x a month on site in Telford

6 Month + contract

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support the development, deployment and operation of cloud-native applications and platforms within an AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and support Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Develop and manage Helm charts for application deployment and lifecycle management.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Support the containerisation and deployment of applications.
• Work closely with engineering teams delivering Java-based microservices.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
• Troubleshoot platform and deployment issues across multiple environments.

Essential Skills

• Kubernetes
• Helm (strong commercial experience required)
• AWS
• GitLab CI/CD Pipelines
• Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Microservices architecture and deployment
• Observability, monitoring and logging
• Experience supporting engineering teams delivering Java applications

Desirable Skills

• MongoDB
• Terraform
• Public Sector or Government experience
