Java Software Engineer

An employer is seeking an experienced professional to join an agile development team, building components for a sophisticated cross-domain security system.

The Role

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java software
• Investigate technologies and identify effective technical solutions
• Write and maintain unit, acceptance, and performance tests
• Support deployment pipelines and work closely with DevOps specialists
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide third-line support

What You'll Need

• Strong Java development experience, ideally using Spring Boot
• Agile practices, including TDD, BDD, continuous delivery, and pair programming
• Experience with AWS services like S3, Fargate, Lambda, SQS, and SNS
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or DynamoDB, plus JPA
