A highly regarded investment management firm is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to join a small, sharp technology team running the estate behind a business-critical trading environment. No silos, no narrow specialism. As our Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll have real ownership across cloud, Microsoft platforms, automation and projects, with modern tooling (Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Kubernetes) in reach.

What you’ll do as our Infrastructure Engineer

• Run Microsoft 365, Entra ID and hybrid Active Directory
• Administer Azure infrastructure and cloud services
• Build and maintain PowerShell automation
• Drive Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Git workflows
• Deliver projects from design to implementation
• Own networking, security, backup and DR
• Support traders and stakeholders, and resolve critical incidents fast
• Raise standards through clear documentation and continuous improvement

What you’ll bring

• Strong Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 expertise
• Azure infrastructure experience
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation
• Windows Server and endpoint management
• Excellent troubleshooting and incident management
• End-to-end project delivery
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills
• A background in small teams with broad ownership

Bonus points

• Terraform or other IaC tooling, Kubernetes, Intune
• Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub
• Financial services, trading, asset management or hedge fund experience
• MSP experience in demanding environments
